Drivers Abroad Guarantee and Refund Policy

At Drivers Abroad, every International Driving Permit (IDP) you purchase is fully covered by our Guarantees and Refund Policy. For more information, please contact us via chat on our website, call us, or email us at info@driversabroad.com.au.

International Driving Permit accepted worldwide—or your money back, guaranteed!

If your Drivers Abroad IDP is not accepted in any of the countries listed on our website, you are eligible for a full refund.

How to claim your refund:

Simply contact our Customer Service team via chat, email, or phone, and provide supporting documentation that your IDP was not accepted. We guarantee your full refund will be processed within five business days.

Eligible refund cases include:

  • Rejection or refusal by car rental agencies (with documentary evidence)

  • Rejection or refusal by traffic authorities in any country on our list (with documentary evidence)

  • Requests made within three years of the original order date

24-Hour Digital IDP Delivery Guarantee:
Once you submit your application and all required documents, you will receive your Digital IDP and order confirmation email within 24 hours. If, for any reason, we fail to deliver your Digital IDP within the promised 24-hour timeframe, you will receive a full refund—guaranteed.

Note: Only applications with complete and approved documents and information are eligible for this guarantee. We cannot process incomplete applications.

Eligible cases for processing time refund:

  • Delays in delivery beyond the promised 24 hours, provided all documents and information were complete and approved

Unlimited Free Replacements
Your IDP is eligible for unlimited free replacements for as long as it is valid. We cover all costs and ship free replacements to the original shipping address listed in your order.

  • Applies to all digital copies

  • Applies to lost printed copies or cards, provided the shipping address remains unchanged

  • Covers cases where your order never arrived (with supporting tracking information)

If you need your replacement shipped to a different address or want to upgrade to a faster shipping method, we’ll cover all printing and issuance costs. You will only be responsible for any additional shipping fees.
